Release Notes
Client-only release notes for the ARPEDIO Matrix, Sales, and Agent packages, newest first.
May 2026 Release #
Matrix Package R.6.3.2 · Agent Package R.1.5.5 · Sales Package R.7.5.0
Org Chart Optimiser #
The latest improvement to our Org Chart generation agent, this use case allows the user to optimise an existing Org Chart, rather than starting again (generate) or having to do so manually. The Agent looks at the existing Org Chart and, depending on whether the user selects to include only the contacts present or all related contacts, it looks for a more logical and complete Org Chart structure. This 'logic' is based on the fields that the client decides to send to the agent (configured in settings, see next row). We then present the Agent's new suggested structure alongside the old Org Chart (in a modal) for the user to review. At this point the user can make quick tweaks and then accept the new structure which is then applied to their real Org Chart.
Settings for Contact field selection for Org Chart creation (Generation & Optimisation) #
We have allowed our clients to decide which contact object fields can be sent to our Org Chart Generation & Optimisation agent for it to build Org Chart structures. The client has the option to determine fields for the following: 'Grouping' fields: one field can be selected to help the agent inform how contacts should be grouped (e.g. into departments) 'Hierarchy' field: two fields can be selected to help the agent decide how to organise who reports into who
Org Chart full screen mode #
The full screen button on the Org Chart now triggers a full screen modal to open over the page the user is on. This new modal cuts down on unnecessary 'dead' space (e.g. SF heading banner) and allows the Org Chart to take up more of the screen. The ‘Org Chart’ button in the Matrix is only present when the Matrix is placed on Accounts, not any other objects.
Matrix for any record page #
We have enabled the Matrix component to be placed on any object record page (e.g. Account).
Make team members in a Matrix a follower by default #
Anyone added as a team member is now made a 'follower' by default; this is so that we can notify them of important changes.
Notify followers when a contact becomes inactive #
Any follower of the Matrix will now be notified when a contact in the Matrix becomes inactive
Custom Export #
We have improved upon our 'Opportunity Summary' export to make this an export which can be built on any SF object and export to excel. Creating the export remains largely the same, but now the admin can create multiple exports for any object, so they may have 5 different export templates for 5 different opportunity types. The export is still triggered from the drop down in the top right of the 'Assessment Access' component. When multiple exports are created for one object (e.g. Opportunity) the admin can control which is displayed by choosing one when they pull the 'Assessment Access' component onto the page, if they don't do this, all export options will be displayed in the drop down.

Full Action Manager Component #
The Action Manager is a tool that displays the actions that have been created relating to a specific Account (or other object) or strategic process (like Account Planning or health assessments) and allows the user to manage these tasks effectively (through editing, creating, sharing, and deleting).
This feature is a standalone component that allows users to visualise and manage the most important actions relating to their Account-Based Sales activities.
Action Manager for the Sales Assessment #
This feature is a simplified Action Manager embedded into the Sales Assessment component, allowing users to visualise and manage the most important actions relating to their Sales Assessment.
Action Manager for the Stakeholder Matrix #
This feature is a simplified Action Manager embedded into the Matrix component allowing users to visualise and manage the most important actions relating to their Matrix.
Matrix improvements #
To allow us to add the new Action Manager to the Matrix, we needed to make some minor changes:
- We improved the responsiveness of the table, whereby when the data has a smaller window/space to occupy, the format is maintained without issues or overlap of data
- We fixed the width of the first column (e.g., 'customer stakeholders') across all tabs to ensure a consistent look when navigating through
November 2025 Release #
Matrix Package R.7.2.0
Improved Score Trending Feature #
We have made simple but valuable improvements to the Score Trending feature to provide a view of real data to help users get a quick overview of the movement of their scores over time.
Before this package release, the Score Trending data points showed the average scores for the Matrix and the Assessment. The data now displayed on the Score Trending graph represents actual scores recorded on a specified date.
In the Weekly view, the data points will show the score on the first day of each week. In the Monthly view, the data points show the score on the first day of the month. The ‘current’ score from the day you are viewing will also always be plotted at the end of the x-axis on the graph.
Timeframes There are now two options for views of the Score Trending: Weekly and Monthly. There are also two options for timeframes to view the data across: 6 months and 12 months. On the x-axis, months will be plotted and stay consistent between Weekly and Monthly views. The selection of the timeframe has been moved from below the graph to above the graph to the left.
Titles The titles for each score have been moved, so they are stacked in the top right, and have a circle showing the colour instead of a rectangle. The title "Sales" for the Sales Assessment score has been changed to "Assessment".
Important to note: This has not been implemented in the Sales Package, which means in the Opportunity Trending in the Account Plan; therefore, the Score Trending feature remains the same there.

Include question notes in Account Summary Export (HTML & PPT) #
The Assessment has now been redesigned to include the ability to add notes to each question in the Assessment on top of being able to add notes to topics.
It is now possible via the Account Summary Export, to export the Assessment with the notes for each topic and question in both HTML and PPT. The notes are located directly under the question/topic they have been made for in a box, and the design is streamlined with the topic notes.
Be able to save the filter 'Display All Records' in Sales Heat Map #
When exporting the Assessment via the Account Summary Export, it is now possible to select whether or not to include the notes in the export via a check box in the export modal. The check box is enabled when the Assessment has been added to the export
Review close (’X’) buttons in Matrix package #
All close ('X’) buttons in ARPEDIO's modals in the Matrix Package have been updated to match the Salesforce Native design to ensure a streamlined design and prevent any rendering issues.
This included the "x" in the top right of the filters pane in the Salesforce SLDS 2 theme, which was in a misaligned circle.
Data Skew Fixes in Sales Package #
In previous versions, the following objects in our ARPEDIO suite were directly linked via lookup relationships to shared, global "Template" objects.
To ensure long-term scalability and stability, this package introduces an enhanced data model. Instead of relying on global template objects, ARPEDIO now creates dedicated cloned template records for each user-generated assessment. This eliminates the risk of too many child records referencing a single shared parent and ensures smoother performance as your org grows.

Change logic for what 'records' are being displayed in the Heat Map #
The heatmap will now, by default, show the records which have a score of 0.0 and above and which have been assessed before. Therefore, it will exclude any records which have never been assessed, or been previously assessed and returned to 'N/A' (these will have a score of -1.0).
As a result of the above change, we have updated the label for the checkbox filter to be more accurate. This was previously “Display not assessed records”, but is now “Display all records”.
Be able to save the filter 'Display All Records' in Sales Heat Map #
Users can now save the “Display All Records” filter as part of their Heat Map view, ensuring that their preferred view is automatically applied the next time they open the component.
Redesign of the Sales Assessment #
The Sales Assessment has been redesigned with a new vertical layout, where Areas, Topics, and Questions are stacked and collapsible by area. The topic colour bar has been removed, and guide text is now accessed via a button on the topic row. Small visual enhancements, like rounded edges, improve the overall interface.
Notes: Notes can now be added not only to Topics but also to individual Questions. Each row displays a “Notes” button, and when a note is present, it becomes expandable with a “>” icon.
Actions Component: The Actions panel is now pinned to the right side of the assessment and can be collapsed using an arrow button.
Other Component Updates:
- Assessment Summary: Redesigned for consistency, with each Area displayed in its own rounded box.
- Heat Map: Updated with a vertical layout for Topics, Questions, and Scores, and now includes notes at the question level.
August 2025 Release #
Sales Package R.6.12.0
Trigger refresh after update a view in Heat Map #
The Heat Map will now auto-refresh after changing or applying a filter to a view instead of manually having to click refresh after changing or applying a filter to a view.
Allow ARPEDIO Heat map to be placed on ARPEDIO Account Plan Object #
The ARPEDIO Heat Map component can now be placed on the ARPEDIO Account Plan Object.
Allow ARPEDIO Heat map to be placed on SF Account Plan Object #
The ARPEDIO Heat Map component can now be placed on the SF Account Plan Object.
Allow ARPEDIO White Space to be placed on SF Account Plan Object #
The ARPEDIO White Space component can now be placed on the SF Account Plan Object.
Improve design of Custom Templates in Account Summary export #
The custom templates export has been improved.
- It now follows the grid layout of the previous export improvements
- Each custom template starts on its own page
- Topics start on a new page
- Images are now handled better to create a consistent layout. They are handled in the following way:
- they can take up a maximum of one whole page,
- if it exceeds one page, it will be scaled down proportionately to fit
- if it is smaller than a page, text will be included to utilise remaining space.

Update custom templates management regarding rich text/plain text field #
We have updated the information text which appears when hovering on the icon next to the rich text selector during the creation or editing of a custom template. On the third step called "Template elements", the hover modal with information text on the right side of the toggle for rich text/plain text will be updated to state: “This enables text formatting tools for the text areas. Rich text custom templates are not compatible with our Opportunity Summary Export. Plain text character limit: 2,000. Rich text character limit: 7,500. Whichever you choose, note that once created, you cannot change this later.”
Also, a user will no longer be able to change the 'type' of text field for a custom template once it has been disabled. E.g. they won't be able to go from rich text to plain text, or plain text to rich text. Once created, the toggle option for this will be disabled.
This will be visible front-end in two places:
- When a custom template is created - there will be a warning to say they cannot change text type later. The warning will be under the third step called "template elements", and be located underneath the rich text toggle - the warning will say “Type of text field for this template cannot be changed once it has been created.”
- When a custom template is edited - the toggle for rich text will be disabled and the warning message will be visible there too - “Type of text field for this template cannot be changed once it has been created.”
Reduce question field character limits (rich text) #
The character limit for the rich text field in custom templates has been reduced from 131,072 to 7,500 characters.
Increase plain text field character limit to 2,000 (Custom Templates) #
The character limit for the plain text field in custom templates has been increased from 1,000 to 2,000 characters.
Remove Chatter button within ARPEDIO #
The chatter button has been removed from all pages it appeared on (Matrix, Account Planning, and White Space) because it didn't have the functionality of a chatter button.
May 2025 Release #
Sales Package R.6.10.0 · Matrix Package R.5.14.0
Include 'Notes' section from the Matrix #
The 'Notes' Section from the Matrix can now be included in the Account Summary Export so that all Stakeholder Notes can be exported as part of the Account Summary.
Select which custom templates to include in the Account Summary Export. #
When exporting the Account Summary the user can now choose which Custom Template they wish to include, and which they don't.
Improved SWOT section design #
We have improved how we represent colours on the SWOT. Previously the selected colours would fill the entire section, we have refined this so there is a colour bar across the top of each section which runs behind the section title. The same change has been applied to the Account Summary export.
Include all Opportunity stages in Opportunity Assessment #
In the Opportunity Assessment, all stages of the Opportunity are now displayed. Previously stages stopped at the second to last stage (e.g. 'Contract Negotiation').
Ability to filter by '-none-' #
If the user has a non-required picklist that can take the "-none-" value (which is not an option in the picklist), we now allow the user to be able to filter by both the "-none-" and another value. E.g. "value 1" in the Sales Heat Map. This is instead of having to do NOT EQUALS to all values you don't want.
Increased the character limit of Custom Template answer fields when 'plain text' #
Previously, plain text Custom Template answer fields had a character limit of 255, we have increased this to 1,000.
SWOT section character limit reduced to 2,500 #
We have reduced the character limit for each section of the SWOT to 2,500 characters (from 32k). Alongside this we have added a character counter to the SWOT to help the user know when they are approaching this limit.
Stakeholder Notes fields character limit reduced to 1,000 #
We have reduced the character limit for each Stakeholder Note field and the Matrix Note to 1,000 characters (from 32k). Alongside this we have added a character counter to these fields to help the user know when they are approaching this limit.
Removed empty components/field from Assessment export #
When exporting the assessment directly from the assessment itself (exporting into excel, not Opportunity Summary) the tabs in the bottom which are empty were being displayed. We felt these should not be there and so have removed them if empty. An example is the White Space - if an object (e.g. an Opportunity) which has an Assessment Template but does not have White Space, the White Space shouldn't be there.
Removed SWOT indicator icon when 4 sections present #
In the previous release, if the SWOT was exported and all four sections fit onto one page (low characters) the indicator icon would show as filled to display that all SWOT sections were on the page being viewed. This was redundant, so we removed the icon in this case.
April 2025 Release #
Sales Package R.6.9.2
Improvements to the Account Summary Export #
The overall design of the Account Summary has been improved with improved layout and format, consistent sizing and spacing, as well as the addition of several new features: Assessment 'comment' field now included in export Indicator icon: we have added a new icon to indicate to the user which part of their data set they are viewing (for Matrix and SWOT) Matrix score: we have added the Matrix score to Matrix related data for easy reference SWOT: we have improved the way we handle the SWOT by splitting it across pages when it is large and keeping it on one page when small Navigation 'dots': these have moved from horizontal across the top of the HTML export, to vertical on the right border to more intuitively scroll 'down' through the doc
Other changes for the customers to know: We have replaced the PPT 'native' export (built directly in PPT) with a direct download button for the PPT export built from the HTML (not editable when in PPT)
Update the 'best practice' Sales Templates #
Auto-publish has been removed. Previously, when importing one of our Best Practice (i.e, SAMA 7 Steps, Spin Selling, etc) sales template, it would publish automatically and be locked. This meant that you could not change the template, but would have to create a new version of that template in order to modify before publishing.
Now when importing it stays unpublished and editable allowing you to make changes as needed and publish when reviewed and ready to go live.
March 2025 Release #
Sales Package R.6.8.0
Improved re-ordering functionality of Summary Configuration #
We have created a simple ‘drag and drop’ feature for reordering the sections in the export once they have been created. This is instead of the previous manual entering of the order while creating.
New approach for Custom Templates and the creation of the data records #
Previously, the Custom Templates component created all related records as soon as it loaded. It has been updated to create these records only when the responses are saved. This change helps prevent the creation of unnecessary records.

Improved saving experience for the Sales Assessment #
Several improvements have been made to the saving experience of the Sales Assessment which help mitigate the risk of data loss. This has been done in the following ways:
- Auto-save: the Sales Assessment will now automatically save all new updates
- Browser modal: triggered by the use of either back, forward or refresh in the browser navigation, this modal warns the user of unsaved data and gives them the choice to continue and lose data, or go back and allow saving to occur.
- In-app modal: triggered when the user navigates through or away from an ARPEDIO component, to another ARPEDIO component. This modal warns the user of unsaved data and gives them the choice to continue and lose data, or go back and allow saving to occur.
Different error displays according to severity #
In the past, errors were all handled in the same way, a pop up modal which took over the entire screen and inhibited usability. Now, we have created different displays for different levels of severity so that we do not disturb user experience unless we have to. These three severities and displays are as follows:
- High severity: same as the prior display, a modal blocks the entire screen and prevents usage.
- Medium severity: a small toast message is displayed at the top of the screen, usage can continue.
- Low severity: the error is logged in the development module and the user never sees it, usage is not interrupted at all.
Ensure required fields in Org Chart export ‘react’ immediately #
When selecting which fields to export with the Org Chart, the required fields will display in red and block the download if a selection has not been made. Also, the red color will now disappear immediately once selections have been made for the fields.
Modals will no longer appear on top of one another #
With the new addition of modals to warn users about unsaved changes, we were seeing multiple modals pop up on top of each other for different alerts e.g. adding a tab in the Org Chart and an unsaved change. A solution has now been implemented so another modal won't appear on top of the other, and instead they will ‘queue’, with one only appearing once the other has been closed.
December 2024 Release #
Matrix Package R.5.9.1 · Sales Package R.6.5.1
Allow users to transfer configurations from one organisation into another (Matrix Package) #
This work completes functionality which allows a client that has set up templates, settings etc in sandbox, to transfer these to their new/other environment. This work removes the time required to manually rebuild configurations, reduces the risk of human error, and ultimately reduces the time to usage and adoption of our product. More details below: Admins can export all configurations (e.g. a template) from an org (e.g. in sandbox).
Admins can import configurations (e.g. templates or settings) into a new org, instead of manually copying it for every new Salesforce environment. availible from the Matrix settings.
Improve the experience and customisability of Org Chart exports #
A user will now have more options to customise what is exported on their Org Chart. Now the user is able to choose: Export format: PDF or PNG (was already an option)
- View: detailed or simple view
- Contact fields to include: picture (was already an option), name, title, contact owner/account, stakeholder type
- Tabs: export all or select those you want to export
- Filters & influencers: including the filters and/or influences you currently have displayed on the Org Chart you are looking at
Note: The export file will contain only the fields selected during export from the Org Chart, and will also now scale and look better than before, see the next row on this release feed for added details.
Improved design of the Org Chart export #
We have improved the design of the Org Chart export (PNG or PDF) in the following ways:
- Increase font size of the ‘Name’ field
- Increase font size of the ‘Title’ field, and capped this to 3 lines.
- Made the font a monospace font to make it easier for us to handle the number of characters displayed for ‘Name’ and ‘Title’ fields, as well as to maximise the number of characters displayed
- Reduced the size of the ‘Contact Picture’ and centered it to the corner point of the ‘Contact Card’ to improve look and allow more characters to be displayed for the ‘Name’ field
When certain fields have been omitted from an export (in simple view), we have reduced the size of the card to make better use of ‘dead’ space. This will allow users to increase the size of their Org Charts when adding them into decks and making it easier to read for stakeholders.
Minor tweaks to placement of fields in the export, depending on what is selected, so that the Org Chart export looks better. Notes:
- PNG: When exporting multiple tabs, each will be displayed on a separate PNG file and the tab name will be displayed as the file name.
- PDF: When exporting multiple tabs, each will be displayed on a separate page in a PDF and the tab name will be displayed in the top left of the file.
Improve the saving experience #
We have improved the saving experience of various components to combat the risk of data loss. This has been done in the following ways:
Warning Modals: Browser modal: triggered by the use of either back, forward or refresh in the browser navigation, this modal warns the user of unsaved data and gives them the choice to continue and lose data, or go back and allow saving to occur.
In-app modal: triggered when the user navigates through or away from an ARPEDIO component, to another ARPEDIO component. This modal warns the user of unsaved data and gives them the choice to continue and lose data, or go back and allow saving to occur.
Browser modal: won’t trigger when the URL doesn’t change (e.g. when moving between Salesforce tabs)
Improve usability of notes field in the Stakeholder Matrix #
As some users are writing longer notes in the Stakeholder Matrix, we have made improvements to make it easier to view or edit these: The notes fields can be opened in a modal by clicking a new ‘expand’ icon which appears when hovering over the field with the cursor
Changes to the notes made in the modal will be auto-saved after 5s of inactivity or when closing the modal
Notes: There is no ‘Save’ button when closing the modal as auto-save is in place. Initially, users may worry about losing their data but once they close the modal they will see that the data has been saved. It might be prudent to let clients that are likely to use this know about this.
November 2024 Release #
Sales Package R.6.4.0
Allow users to 'replan' their Strategic Account Plan #
A user can now create a new Strategic Account Plan using an existing plan as a base. They can choose which elements to include in the new plan as well as make changes needed (e.g. to titles, dates and more). More details below: Users can begin building their next account plan, while their current plan is in progress
While replanning, users can see the complete structure of the records of the Account Plan
Users can duplicate the Account Plan completely
Users can also select which objectives, goals, actions plans and more should be carried over to the new Account Plan
Title, Start and End Date can be defined for all elements of the new plan in the same process
Guidelines and suggestions will assist the user when replanning to ensure the right details for the new plan
Allow users to transfer configurations from one organisation into another (Sales Package) #
This work delivers functionality which allows a client that has set up templates, settings etc in sandbox, to transfer these to their new ARPEDIO production org.
This can be done from the Sales settings.
Scope limitations: This only applies to the Sales Package for now. The Matrix Package part to be delivered in the December sprint.
This will not allow the import of configs into an existing org with data and settings already in place.
Modernisation of Sales Assessment underlying tech #
The 'Sales Assessment' tool is the last remaining component built using an old language ("Angular") and as a result improvements to this tool have been paused for some time. In order for us to resume development of new features, improve performance, and reduce the need to maintain knowledge of an old language, we have migrated the Sales Assessment to a newer language and technology (LWC). This migration has resulted in a few minor changes to the sales assessment: Export of Sales Assessment now contains the questions and scores for the 'topics' within each 'area', not just the area.
Some buttons have moved:
The ‘save’ button for editing the assessment notes field has moved from above left, to below the notes field on the left (to be consistent with other components).
The 'new task', 'chatter' and 'download' buttons have moved from above the area (where the save button was) to the heading navigation next to the overall score. Also, 'download' has been changed to 'export' to be consistent with the rest of the platform.
